The New Western
Welcome to first only all unique " The New Western" Fundamentals!
The New Western fundamentals dictionary was created by Bella Snowstorm with the
help of Western Progress helping her ideas come to life. The Goal with the development for this method was create a unseen version and a perfected method of the western disciplines within the star Stable Community. She wanted to bring her In real sport she rides to life in the game whilst maintaining professionalism and a new and innovate a new and creative way for members of the community to ride the western Disciplines. Just Like dressage there is fundamentals specifically designed and crated to fit in with the screen delays and game play.
The Method was Published in February 2025, The New Western dictionary became the first "Western Method" with detailed fundamentals and skill sets released to the SSO Western Enthusiasts.
What inspired TNW?
When Bellz was creating TNW she had done a significant amount of research within the community to try and find something that had a western discipline that she found interesting. Though Bellz had found clubs & Teams that had these disciplines as sports there was no foundations to build to teach.
Bellz wanted to create a brand new, foundational and more complex version of western in the community to achieve more interest and engagement when riders where competing and riding these patterns.
Bellz being a western rider herself found her knowledge and ideas coming to life. She wanted to create fundamentals similar to the community's dressage methods. Screen delay was the biggest problem and she found riders would run through poles, barrels and arena work was boring. Thus created "The New Western" with foundations that included the screen delay, realism and ensured riders where enjoying the sport with more complexity and perfected ways.
Key to succeeding
When creating the fundamentals, there was an aim to create clean, smooth, realistic and perfected runs. The fundamental principles constitute to the ideas of refined and sophisticated Western Riding, acting as the preliminary phase toward the realization of accuracy and precision. With these in place it helps riders ride those Clean and skillful runs when training or competing. We aim smooth clean runs.
The New Western was crafted to equip riders with the essential skills and instruments that help them achieve success. It outlines the importance of the individual fundamentals that each rider needs to follow rather than depending exclusively on the instructor's capacity to direct. The goal was to give riders minimal guidance when competing.

When Teaching the fundamentals we encourage players to read and ride each chapter whilst training with our team to learn each tip and trick Western Progress has built when creating these fundamentals.
